Supporting pets and the people who love them

Cecil & Lenore Pet Support Foundation was created from a very real place in my heart. Cecil, my little shadow, was rescued after his previous owner became too ill to care for him. Even though he eventually found his way to safety, the transition left a mark — a reminder of how deeply pets feel the loss and confusion of being separated from their person. Lenore’s story is different but no less important. I came across her in a situation where she wasn’t being treated well, and after reaching out to a local rescue, they were able to step in and save her. She represents the kind of second chance every animal deserves.

This foundation exists because I’ve seen firsthand how much pets love us, depend on us, and grieve when their world changes. It’s not just about helping the people who are struggling — it’s also about reducing the trauma pets experience when they’re displaced, overwhelmed, or left behind through no fault of their own.

Cecil & Lenore is my way of honoring both of them by supporting pets and the people who love them. My hope is simple: to keep families together whenever possible, and to make sure no animal loses their person because life got hard.
