Supporting pets and the people who love them

Cecil & Lenore Pet Support Foundation was created from a very real place in my heart.

Cecil, my little shadow, came to me after his previous owner became too ill to care for him. Even though he ultimately found safety, the transition left a lasting impression on me — a reminder of how deeply pets feel loss, confusion, and separation from their person.

Lenore’s story is different, and it continues to stay with me.

She came to my attention through a situation where she had not received the care and protection she deserved. A local rescue stepped in and did everything possible to help her. Despite extensive medical treatment and tireless efforts, Lenore did not survive.

Her loss was devastating. What remains with me is the reminder that animals experience fear, confusion, and grief when their world changes — even when intervention is meant to help. Lenore did not get the ending she deserved, but her life still matters.

This foundation exists to honor animals like Cecil and Lenore — those who depend on us completely, and who are often deeply affected by illness, hardship, or instability beyond their control. Our mission is to support people during difficult times so pets can remain safe, loved, and connected whenever possible.

Cecil & Lenore is about compassion, responsibility, and reducing the trauma pets experience when life gets hard. It is my way of honoring them by helping others stay together.
